#100084 Z063 Pulse Divider by Centrodyne Corporation. This device is used to reduce the frequency of the distance signal from the vehicle speed sensor to the taximeter. It also has the ability to clean up the pulse signal if needed, and to buffer the taximeter circuit from the car’s pulse circuits. This prevents the meter from electronically loading the car’s circuits, causing problems for things like speedometer/odometer and shifting logic. Some installations won’t calibrate properly without one of these, but some don’t need it at all ! We have a chart.
